We started a devotional journey this month with an invitation to take about 15 minutes to read Jesus’ most famous sermon straight thru. And since then, we have pondered some of the passages that make up this wonderful piece of preaching by tackling a little chunk each day.
I’m one of those people who likes to buy a movie so that I can enjoy it again and again. Before we leave the Sermon on the Mount, let’s read it thru again one more time (Matthew chapter 5, 6, & 7) and let it soak in.

Thank you, God, for the great guidance and comfort I find in the preaching of Jesus. And thank you for feeding my soul this month with His words. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
