REVELATION 2:7

⁷ Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. To everyone who conquers, I will give permission to eat from the tree of life that is in the paradise of God.

In the Revelation given to John, there are some very pointed instructions given to the Seven Churches. We would all do well to read these words from time to time. And to add a little authority to these words that were recorded and shared by John, there is a phrase that is stated once, and then repeated six more times.

In Revelation, and in the 65 other books we call the Bible, the Spirit of God is speaking.

Let anyone who has an ear to hear —- listen.

God, thank you for speaking to me in the pages of the Bible. Let me stop, tune my ear, and listen, so that I may live as a disciple of my Lord and Savior, Jesus, in whose name I pray. Amen.
