In this moving contemporary praise anthem, our Heart of Worship Praise Band leads us in the chorus the past few months as our call to offering a song and our gifts to God in worship. It’s a song of active praise and joyful response to the promise of Easter, a story that we are included in as well. The story of Easter is built in every verse, reminding us of this story that started from the very beginning. The redeeming work of Christ has finished through the cross, but the church’s work has just begun. In being thankful for such grace, we are now a part of the story as well. The King of Kings is to whom we join together in praise.

God of glory, we too, praise such hope and redemption found in Christ Jesus as we sing these songs of Eastertide. In praising the King of Kings, we are grateful that the eternal story can still be contemporary in music and in our lives today.
