In the Glory to God Hymnal, there is a section of songs classified as DEDICATION AND STEWARDSHIP hymns. In the Fall season, around the time of the North American harvest, the Presbyterian church has historically talked about how we dedicate our gifts to God for the work of the Kingdom. Hymn 694, Great God of Every Blessing finds a comfortable place in this section.
Great God of every blessing, of faithful, loving care,
You are the fount of every goodness, the daily bread we share.
How can we hope to thank you? Our praise is but a start;
Sincerely and completely I offer you my heart.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name ….. Give us this day our daily bread. And accept our thanks, and praise, and dedication, through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, in whose name we pray. Amen.
