Psalm 133
1How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!
2It is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down over the collar of his robes.
3It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord ordained his blessing, life forevermore.
As I close out the month of July, I am excited to begin packing for family vacation. It has been especially meaningful to me to expand my love and care to being an amazing Aunt Sarah. I have cherished the yearly vacations, whether they are in the fall, as the photo shared here with our matching outfits at Dry Falls in NC, or the photos to be taken on the beach soon. I enjoy the adventure of waking up in a full house, sharing meals and stories. My nephews and niece love the time to play on the beach. I enjoy hearing about their lives, their interests and joys as well as been a source of support as they face challenges in school or their friendships. They enjoy hearing stories of their father, my brother, and my childhood. Each smile, laugh. and shared memories bring me joy. It is an honor God has given me the opportunity to grow as Aunt Sarah and I am giddy with anticipation of this year’s adventures!
Prayer
O Lord of goodness, love and joy of binding us as your church family and sustaining us in our own families. May those relationships continue to strengthen and deepen. May we truly celebrate being a part of your family and always pull up another seat around the table which you have set before us. In Christ’s holy name, we pray, Amen
