II CORINTHIANS 12:14

11 Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Be restored; listen to my appeal; agree with one another; live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 12 Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the saints greet you.

13 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.

In Paul’s final thoughts to the Christians in Corinth, he wishes for them to behave toward one another as brothers and sisters, living in the love and peace of God, and greeting one other with a holy kiss.

That is an admirable goal for Christ’s followers.

How do we achieve that type of fellowship?

Maybe we embody what he attributes to God in the trinitarian concluding line:

With the grace of the Lord Jesus, the love of God the Father, and the communion of the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit binds us together in communion and fellowship.

Prayer

Come, Holy Spirit, sweet heavenly dove, stay right here with us, filling us with your love”, and helping us to love together in community as followers of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen.
