Proverbs 18:24
24 Some[a] friends play at friendship,[b]
but a true friend sticks closer than one’s sibling.
From the very beginning, God has surrounded us with the presence of others. There are fellow citizens, neighbors, co-workers, teammates, family members, and friends that fill our world. And sometimes, when we are with one of those special friends, we feel a special sense of how God has chosen to share love with us.
Prayer
Thank You, God, for those people that we have met along the way who share love, life, and true friendship with us. That makes this day even better. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
